Re: To protect and serve?

Hi BDB,I gotta tell you, your situation sounds like you know this dealer and a bunch of his customers personally. Now the situation is effecting your kid(s) and you’re angry because the police aren’t doing what you want, when you want it done. This isn’t the place to just take out your frustration. If it’s advice on what to do that you’re looking for, it just might not be the advice you want to hear.If this person is dealing heroin I promise the local police want to bust them. They know what they need to do it. What is proof to you might not be what they need to do the job. If nothing else, you reporting the dealer makes them aware and they’ll be looking for the chance to bust them. Contacting the Attorney General certainly can’t hurt either. If what you really want to do is save your kid, think about it, what can you really do? Get rid of one dealer and they’ll find another. The thing you might have to do, to save them, is turn them in. I know that’s probably the last thing you want to do. Given the road they’re already heading down, what else can you do now? I doubt waiting for someone else to do something is going to help your kid. Given the circumstances the system is a lot more geared toward helping them and getting them off the drugs. Maybe the kid will flip on the dealer and give the proof needed, but I doubt that’ll help your kid much.Bottom line. if it’s your kid you want to help, work on that. If it’s just revenge against the dealer, well good luck.
