November Ballot Candidates Forum
Bradford, PA-The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Smethport Area Chamber of Commerce and Kane Chamber of Commerce presents The Election 2008 Candidates Forum on Thursday, October 2, 2008.
This forum is an exclusive opportunity for business owners and managers in McKean county to meet one on one with most of the candidates to appear on the November ballot. An informal reception will be followed by a pre-submitted, "Town-Meeting" format, question and answer period led by non-partisan moderator, Steve Robar, PhD. This is a unique opportunity to address critical issues facing the future of businesses in our rural area.
The following candidates will be attending:
- Representative in US Congress (5th District): Mark McCracken (D), Glenn Thompson (R), James Fryman (L)
- Senator in PA State General Assembly (25th District): Donald L. Hilliard (D)
- Senate President Pro Tempore Joseph Scarnati (R)
- Pennsylvania Auditor General: Jack Wagner (D)
- Pennsylvania State Treasurer: Berlie Etze l(L)
- Representative in the PA State General Assembly: Representative Martin Causer
This forum for will be held from 5-7pm at the:
University of Pittsburgh at Bradford
Frame-Westerberg Building
University Room
300 Campus Drive
Bradford.
A public forum in Bromeley Family Theatre will follow this event at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 7 pm.
There is a nominal fee to attend the private business forum. Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
