Coudersport Man & 16 Year Old Accomplice Arrested For More Burglaries

Burglary Suspects Charged With 7 More Breakins A 19 year old Coudersport resident and his unnamed 16 year old accomplice were charged by State Police on Monday with 7 more burglaries in addition to charges filed in a 3 county crime spree that occurred in late March. Our story on the earlier crime spree is available here.Aaron David Trowbridge, 19, of Coudersport, PA, remains in McKean County jail, where he has resided since the earlier charges were filed. He was arraigned on new charges involving him in 7 seasonal home burglaries in West Branch & Wharton Township, Potter County

Gun taken in Elk County burglary staff report, Erie Times-News RIDGWAY — Police are asking the public for help solving a burglary in which a revolver was taken.State police at Ridgway said someone pushed in a back door of a Gilloully Avenue residence in Ridgway Township, Elk County, sometime between Tuesday and Saturday night.The burglar then took an Arminius HW38, a 38-caliber six-shot revolver.Police asked anyone with information about the burglary to call the Ridgway barracks at (814) 776-6136.

Water Tank Stolen From Brizzie Hollow Road Property

A theft on Brizzie Hollow Road in Oswayo Township between 4-19 and 4-26-2012 is being investigated by State Police at Coudersport.Wilma Jean Freeman, 921 Brizzie Hollow Road, Oswayo, PA, told Trooper Justin M. Lemaire that unknown actor(s) stole a 60 gallon water tank from her property.Troopers believe the tank was taken for scrap metal.

Missing 13 Year Old Returned Home

State Police investigated a report of a runaway/missing 13 year old known juvenile on Tuesday at 7:00 pm.Trooper Derek Weaver said the juvenile from Pike Township returned home several hours after the start of the investigation.

Oak Street Buirglary Under Investigation

A Burglary that occurred on Tuesday at about 1:00 to 1:15 am at a residence at 403 Oak Street in Coudersport Boro is under investigation by State Police at Coudersport.Philip Tomb of that address told Troooper Kocher that unknown actor(s) gained entry into a residence through a window. Tomb was awakened by sounds from the actor(s) entering the window and as a result the actor(s) fled the scene. The investigation is open.
