Former Tioga County Teacher ChargedWETM-TVWellsboro, PA – A teacher in Tioga County, Pennsylvania has been charged with having sexual relations with a student.Wellsboro police charged Sherri Prough with three counts of corruption of a minor.Prough is accused of having sexual intercourse with a female student on and off school grounds in 2007.The student was 17 years old at the time.But police weren’t informed of the incident until December of last year.Prough is a former Wellsboro High School physical education teacher and athletic director.She resigned from her position in February.

The Community Blood Bank is the contracted supplier for 18 hospitals, which include Charles Cole and Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospitals, in 9 counties in NW PA and WNY including McKean, Potter, Warren, Elk, Tioga and Erie Counties. The CBB supplies 99% of all blood used in Chautauqua and Allegany Counties in WNY.
