Former Tioga County Teacher ChargedWETM-TVWellsboro, PA – A teacher in Tioga County, Pennsylvania has been charged with having sexual relations with a student.Wellsboro police charged Sherri Prough with three counts of corruption of a minor.Prough is accused of having sexual intercourse with a female student on and off school grounds in 2007.The student was 17 years old at the time.But police weren’t informed of the incident until December of last year.Prough is a former Wellsboro High School physical education teacher and athletic director.She resigned from her position in February.
